Millions of people throughout the world practice Qigong (pronounced “chee kung”) and Taiji (tai chi) to enhance their health and mind-body connection.  These ancient arts are based on the principle of Yin and Yang, grounded in Taoist philosophy with strong connections to Chinese medicine, Acupuncture, Fung Shui and Chinese herbology.  The Taiji is also a powerful martial art with many levels and applications.

I am currently teaching weekly in Boston, Massachusetts; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Kittery, Maine; and Newburyport, Massachusetts.

In the News: Taiji’s Medical Benefits

A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that Taiji improves balance and movement control for people with Parkinsons. Past studies have shown that tai chi reduces falls and depression among the elderly, and lessens pain for patients with arthritis and fibromyalgia.
